What we’re building

Agents will be rapidly replacing apps on the consumer level. We are starting with building agents that allow users to use AI in a way that strengthens their choice and autonomy. We are also building more sophisticated tools that allow people to control the AI systems in their life. Along the way we are encountering lots of challenges, ranging from everything RAG and context engineering, dynamic model evaluation, agentic interaction, cyber and DevOps related.

This is not a throw-it-over-the-wall, wait-for-engineering role. This is a hands-on, high-velocity design role. You will be our first dedicated designer on the ground, owning the product experience end to end - from the first sketch to a working, clickable prototype. You don't just hand off Figma files; you build functional prototypes yourself with AI tools, hold a high visual bar, and move fast. If you want to define how an entirely new kind of consumer AI product looks and feels, with total autonomy and direct access to the founders, this is your arena.

Your first 12 months

We are pre-launch and currently in stealth. Right now, prototyping lives with the founders - we want you to take it off our plate. In your first months you'll define and prototype the core agent experiences, establish our visual language and design system from scratch, and get polished, testable prototypes in front of real users fast. Start by nailing the look and feel of one flagship experience, then scale that craft and system across the product as we approach launch.

You will

• Own product design end to end - from problem framing and user flows to high-fidelity UI and shipped experiences.

• Build functional, interactive prototypes yourself using AI-native tools, turning concepts into testable products in hours, not weeks.

• Design intuitive interactions for AI agents and LLM-powered features, handling chat, streaming responses, agentic flows, trust, explainability, and user control.

• Set and hold a high visual bar across the product: typography, layout, color, motion, and micro-interactions.

• Establish and evolve our design system as the product and team grow.

• Plan and run user testing - put prototypes in front of real users, gather feedback, and turn what you learn into the next iteration.

• Work side by side with the founders and engineers in tight feedback loops, shipping and learning every week.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years designing consumer software end to end, with a strong emphasis on both UX/interaction and visual design.

• A portfolio that shows exceptional visual craft - layout, typography, color, and motion - and a track record of shipping 0-to-1 products.

• Hands-on fluency with AI prototyping tools. You can independently produce functional, interactive prototypes without waiting on engineering.

• Expert in Figma and modern design workflows.

• Proven experience running user testing - you know how to put work in front of users, synthesize what you hear, and translate it into better design.

• Self-directed and pragmatic - you thrive in ambiguity and a fast, founder-led environment, and you balance user empathy, technical constraints, and business goals to ship.

Nice to have

• Direct experience designing AI, LLM, or agentic products and their unique UX challenges.

• Strong motion design and micro-interaction skills.

• A genuine curiosity about human communication, psychology, and self-awareness - it fits the problems we're working on.
